Raw liver(liver sashimi)

Raw river(liver sashimi)

Can you imagine how does this dish taste?

Generally qw can find it at Yakiniku restaurant. You can't find it at market. Freshness is important for eating dish like this.

Especially we like it as side dish for beer. Very thin sliced but taste strong.

I dip it into sesami oil, but dipping into soy sauce with ground ginger is preferable as well :)

You probably can find it at Yakiniku restaurant near your place.

Just a simple yakiniku at home

Just a simple yakiniku at home

I want to go to Yakiniku restaurant on every weekend but if do so, I can't save money to do what I want to do :(

If I can't bear, just buy cheap meat at market. After 6 PM, most of meats are discounted.

As I said before, I believe that sauce is important for yakiniku. So research which one is most delicious prior to going store :p

The meats from NZ was not bad, but sauce made it delicious. Japanese beef are delicious but sold at foolish plice.

Yakiniku

Yakiniku

Yes, long time has passed by since last time, we finally could eat yakiniku yesterday :D

We went to reasonable yakiniku restaurant, so the meats are not soft, tasty but it made us satisfied.

We believe that taste of sauce is important for yakiniku, not as other sauce i.e tonkatsu hot pot.

They serve delicious yakiniku sauce at burgain plice everyday. Just 1.5 USD for a beer, 2.5 USD per 1 plate of any meat.

I wish I could go back there as soon as possible :)

Yakiniku at home

Yakiniku at home

I am so satisfied because I ate Yakiniku just now :D

Usually, we go to Yakiniku restaurant to eat Yakiniku, but I cook Yakiniku by myself at home. Meats are sold in market.

Needless to say, Yakiniku restaurant serves great meats such as Kobe beef and they are much more delicious than meats sold in market, but we can buy standatd meats at market like this

Large variety of meats packed together, good for 3 or 4, and cost just $9!

Because... do you see yellow seal on the plastic cap ??? lol.. it displays "Save 300 yen". yes, it was discounted.

This is what we use for grill meats as yakiniku at home on the table, so we could eat hot meats those are just removed from fire.

Cooking... it's simple :p grill begetables. it will protect your stomach from fat.

Enjoy! Dip into the sauce and eat them!

Take Kimchi if available ;D

Horumon Yaki

Horumon Yaki

This looks like yakiniku? Yes, it is one of dish served in Yakiniku restaurant.

But meat is "Horumon". Horumon means innards.

We eat most of all innards of beef, such as tongue, heart, liver, bowel, lung and more.

Tongue and bowel are most popular. I like both but I don't like liver yakiniku.

But I love raw liver :D Can you eat it?

I don't need to go to Yakiniku restaurant to eat them. I can buy delicious Horumon in the market.

Like this. It is packed with sauce so I just need to stirfry with onion spring.

It is also great combination with beer :p

Jin-gisu-kan

Jin-gisu-kan

How often do you eat sheep meat? Or never?

In Japan, beef, chicken, and pork are most popular.

Sometimes we eat wild boar and sheep but not so popular.

This dish is called "Jin-gisu-kan" in Japan.

As usual, we bought instant package of it. Like this...

Includes sheep meat, bean sprout, carriot, peppers and sauce.

So we just need to put all to pan and stirfly for a couple of minutes.

Tastes like Yakiniku, but I prefer boar meat rather than sheep :p

Yakiniku #2

Yakiniku

I am so satisfied because I ate Yakiniku tonight.

As I wrote here, Yakiniku is one of most popular dish in Japan.

So here is menu tonight.

This is Yakiniku ticket that my mum was given by her sperior.

Electric Yakiniku heater is ready.

Do you know what is this? This is Kimchi that every Japanese eat with yakiniku.

These are sold as 1 set(combination) at burgain plice. So we don't need to choose meals from a large variety of menu.

Grilling... Meat are thin sliced so will be cook up to 1 or 2 minute.

Finish eating.

I'm glad to go back there but once in 1 week is too much for stomach and health since yakiniku is high cholestrol food.

Yakiniku

Yakiniku.

I love this also. I don't know exact way to explain about it but like Korean BBQ in your hometown.

Sorry to attatch ugly photo coz I'm using ny cellphone to take a pictures.

Yakiniku is so popular in Japan and a lot of people's favorite dish.

1, you should order beer.
2, choose meat what you want to eat from menu list.
3, Raw meat will be serve.
4, Put them onto the electoric heater(charcoal heater) set on the center in every table.
5, take meat out of heater after meet will be cook and dip into sauce.
6, Enjoy!

Maybe you feel discusting to "Do It Yourself" but it's common in Japanese yakiniku restaurant.

If you like rare meet, you can keep meet on the heater for a short time period.

I can't go to yakiniku restaurant often because I have to spend much money.

Yes, I know that there are a lot of reasonable yakiniku restaurant but meat are not flesh and not soft in my hometown. So I don't want to go.

Hmmm, I don't have enough skills of impressing about the taste of Yakinku.

I need to learn English more....
