Mentaiko Pasta


Mentaiko Pasta


:p No need to explain. I have written about Mentaiko Pasta more than 3 or 4 times on this blog.

My and Most of Japanese's favorite pasta.

Pasta with cream or ketchup is most popular in your country isn't it?

Japanese absolutely favor Mentaiko Pasta :D

As dinner, lunch, or side dish for beer, it's anytime favorite to me!

where's the mentaiko? is it the small brownish thing in your pasta?

I thought mentaiko is cod roe. are they dropped into pieces?

According to my dictionary, mentaiko is "cod ovum", but I think "cod roe" is also correct. I'm not sure because it's onle eaten in Japan and Korea :p
When cook Mentaiko pasta, mentaiko are collapsed and spread over pasta. I love both solid mentaiko block and collapsed tiny eggs :)
